Nicki is being slammed for her newest music video.
Nicki Minaj is under fire for featuring the site of a terror attack in her latest video. The rapper dropped the video for "No Frauds" on Wednesday, which features Drake and Lil Wayne but fans were quick to notice that it also featured the Westminster Bridge where three people were killed and 40 more were injured during a terrorist attack on March 22nd in the city of London.
We’ve learned that Manaj actually filmed her scenes just 1 day prior to the attack – and fans are upset that she decided to leave that footage inside on the video taking to Twitter, saying things like “Out of all the places in London who’s choice was it film at Westminster?” and “I thought Nicki was editing out those shots of Westminster bridge.”
The Sun and other outlets had reported that Nicki would leave in the footage from London but take out the scenes she had filmed at the Bridge.
Well as you can tell, it made the cut - and not only that but the rapper then took to twitter asking fans what their favorite scene from the video was calling the Westminster Bridge the ‘London Bridge’ causing even more backlash.
The attack on the bridge and the House of Parliament was the worst terror attack in the country since the 2005 subway bombings.
I see both sides of the argument – she probably spent a lot of time and money getting the shots and probably didn’t see posting the scenes as insensitive, but I also get that something major just happened and a lot of lives were affected but I do want to know where you stand so let’s talk in the comments below and of course subscribe to our channel. I’m Ryland Adams – Thanks for watching. See you soon!
