Sorry Remy, no frauds are allowed in this rap feud. Hey, don’t get mad at me, I’m just repeating what Nicki said.
The Queen has finally responded to both of Remy’s diss tracks with three of her own and she didn’t do it all alone. While two of the tracks that Nicki dropped weren’t necessarily responses to Remy directly, it was her collaboration with Drake and Lil Wayne that got the job done.
In the song ‘No Frauds,’ Nicki didn’t call out Remy by her name, but with lyrics like QUOTE, “Tried to drop ‘Another One,’ you was itchin’ to scrap. You exposed your ghostwriter, now you wish it was scrapped.” It was obvious that Nicki Niks was calling out her former friend.
Although Nicki called on Drizzy and Weezy to drop bars in the song, the two refrained from going after Remy and rapped praises about Nicki instead. According to TMZ, the reason for this was because the track was recorded in January, but an insider revealed Nicki flew in producers to Paris so that she could add the scathing diss lines.
But of course, Remy wasn’t the only one Nicki rapped about. While her song, ‘I Changed It,’ with Lil Wayne was a more chilled track, there’s a verse in her song ‘Regret in Your Tears’ that hinted about her feelings towards her exes, Meek Mill and Safaree Samuels.
She sang QUOTE, “Regret in your tears, now you textin’ me. Cause you know I don’t chase, I replace ‘em. Don’t rush, take time, textin’ me. I just want the memories, tried to make some with you. You. Now I gotta erase some with you.”
I don’t know about you, but I was kind of hoping for something with a little more umpth. Especially because Remy rapped about how Meek spilled the beans about Nicki’s butt implants, but that’s none of my business.
ANYWAY, aside from dropping the songs, the rapper also challenged Remy via a lengthy Instagram message to respond within 72 hours, but that wasn’t all. Nicki wrote QUOTE, “Diss records can’t be lies. Great diss records are FACTS. But here at Young Money, we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS & diss you ON them. I got a bunch more on cock. The greats took three months to respond to diss records. Queens don’t move on peasant time. Queens shut down Paris, then drop hits on #QueenTime. I love my fans. Y’all the real MVPs. Now I got a countdown of my own for Sheneneh. You got 72 hours to drop a hit and I’ll give you half a million dollars if you can book ANY show or interview without mentioning the Queen name. On another note, my album is nothing but waves.”
So there you have it.
