So as if we couldn’t get Nicki Minaj’s famous Anaconda cover art featuring her voluptuous back side out of our heads, we’ve just been reminded a thousand more times.
We can officially confirm that Nicki’s Finland fandom is officially the most dedicated group of humans because they’ve just gone above and beyond to promote her upcoming performance at Finland's Summer Up music festival. A group of promoters covered every square inch of stairs on the historic Helsinki Cathedral with 1,000 cardboard cutouts of Nicki’s famous derrière.
The far-too-familiar images were taken straight from Nicki’s Anaconda cover art, which features the rapper in very minimal clothing, AKA a pink sports bra and matching thong. Many fans took to social media to share snapshots of the work of art, some of which even featured fans surrounding the stairs holding up Nicki’s famous assets. Talk about dedication! Nicki is set to headline the festival which will take place July 3rd and 4th.
And not only is Nicki headlining the famous music festival, but she’s also been makin headlines for her public feud with ex boyfriend Safaree “SB” Samuels. After the two broke things off last year, the split seemed fairly amicable until Safaree dropped a new song called “Love The Most” with a few rather harsh words that pointed straight to Miss Minaj…
Dropping a few less-than-subtle hints in the song, the rapper even references one of Nicki’s songs off her Pinkprint album saying QUOTE, “we both went to sleep in the same ‘Bed of Lies.’” He also addressed how painful it was to see her interact with other male celebs in the industry like in her music video for “Right By My Side” rapping the lines “Had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it’s all cool/Inside I was feeling like a motherf–king fool.”
Well, sorry to break it to ya Samuels, buuutt Nicki just made you feel like a fool again. Knowing that there are two sides to every story, she kept it ultra-classy on Twitter with a few different posts, saying, QUOTE, “God gave me a good heart. I always let ppl get over on me way too long. But that's why I'm blessed. I'll always b blessed. May God keep u.”
“And just for the record, I'm in love with meek.”
“Lol and now I have a huge smile on my face.”
“Making a 12 yr relationship work at such young ages? We're BOTH the real MVP. things got rocky at the end but we had a GREAT run. #B4Ujudge”
