Tensions rose in the Dewan Rakyat when Kota Bharu MP Takiyuddin Hassan and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman Said engaged in a heated exchange over the house arrest law and the alleged royal decree.

During the winding-up session of the 2025 Supply Bill, Takiyuddin interrupted Azalina, questioning the justification behind the house arrest law and asking about the supposed royal decree.

The session grew even more chaotic when Besut MP Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh referred to Jelutong MP RSN Rayer as a "stooge."
