Say it ain't so. Are Directioners going in the opposite direction and converting their fanship over to 5 Seconds of Summer and The Vamps?

Ok so there is no question that One Direction still has a legion of fans by their side -- and outside their bedroom windows too. But it seems that those girls who were there during their early X Factor days may be taking their loyalties elsewhere.

The competition you may ask? The Vamps and 5 Seconds of Summer.Everyone loves an accent.

So why the switch? Well Let's break it down. So, many of you out there really value the importance of social media -- such as Twitter -- and being acknowledged by their superstar loves online or in person.

And of course with a newer band this is easier because they are more accessible because they have not yet reached that level of mega fame where it becomes harder and harder for artists to reach out and get closer to their fans because A). It is nearly impossible to retweet and reply to fifty ca-chillion tweets and B). Security.

Unfortunately the more people you have screaming for you and wanting to steal locks of your hair, the more men in black you need. So many 1D fans are feeling ignored because of the lack of recognition.

Another reason Directioners have been trickling over to Aussie town is due to the recent Marijuana video surfaced of Louis and Zayne enjoying a little mother earth. A lot of parents were not very happy with the little video and have suggested -- or forced their fangirl children through much kicking and screaming -- to favor a band with a more squeaky clean image.

Other fans made the decision to switch on their own after being disappointed in Louis and Zayne for glorifying drugs.

Some even going as far as posting photos on social media sites of them burning their 1D concert tickets. Yikes. Also, the boys have grown and changed a lot in the last four years both musically and physically of course, so a lot of fans may not be as comfortable with the new and evolving sound and prefer that traditional boyband pop.

Which is kinda unfair. I mean, life's all about growth am I right? Yes I am. But in the end, there are many Directioners who are staying true to their 1D roots and they ain't going anywhere. Plus can I just point out that there doesn't have to be a rivalry between dude group fans guys! You can like them all!
