The Vamps Exclusive Performance ►►

The Vamps are getting a little salty with 1D and the seasoning's tasting a tad bitter. And I'm already crying a river because I love both of these bands SO MUCH! Like, I really, really do -- I don't know if you understand. Okay, but back to the story.
The scolding came from James McVey who took to Twitter to call out 1D after their pot smoking video went viral. The series of tweets read, "Just seen something that sucks. Hate seeing people ruin their careers. To clarify I love one direction...Just not a fan of undermining authority." James is referring to the fact that in the "nature" filled video Louis is heard giggling as he films a passing police officer and says "He's having a look. He's thinking, I'm sure I can smell an illegal substance in there. And he's hit the nail on the head." Yikes. James went on to tweet, "It's not that that frustrated me, it was how Louis was talking about the police... Went to a country and acted like that." Ok directioners, before the steam coming from your ears reaches whistle capacity, take a breather. James was not trying to just rag on 1D because they're 1D, which he clarifies in saying, "It doesn't matter who you are or how old you are, if you're a guest in a country you should respect the residents. " And guys, he has a point, don't sharpen your pitchforks and round up the village people quite yet because James clearly wasn't trying to pick a fight. He even took the liberty to tweet,"Sorry if I upset people today, that was in absolute no way my intention. I love ya'll. Forever and always xxxxx." See, it's all good in the band hood. The Vamps went on to perform on the BGT stage and proved once again that they are a force to be reckoned with. I want to hear what you guys think of James' comments. Did he have a point or were the tweets out of line? Sound off in the comment section below, play nice, and click here if you want to see the Vamps perform right here at Clevver headquarters -- they are SO talented and for the record we love 1D too! Don't forget to click that subscribe button if you haven't already joined the revolution. For Clevver News I'm Joslyn Davis and I'll catch ya later.
