While living their best lives on an Italian beach on Tuesday, Orlando Bloom opted for no clothes so that the sun could hit those hard to reach areas and the paparazzi witnessed it all. Katy opted for a bathing suit while Orlando let his junior bloom as they took a voyage on a paddleboard. The couple was also seen lathering each other up with sunscreen and exchanging some playful kisses. And apparently the paparazzi weren’t the only ones who witnessed Orlando in his full bloom because other beachgoers were spotted in the back of some of the pap photos. Naturally once these photos hit the internet, Twitter lost it’s mine and the jokes commenced. Some fans are speculating that because Katy and Orlando were probably well aware that the paparazzi were watching them, it all could easily be a stunt to promote her new single, Rise.
Twitter was quick with the naked puns with one user saying QUOTE – “It's no wonder Katy Perry's new song is called 'Rise'.” Another said – “Had a sneaky suspicion @katyperry Rise was a double entendre. Definitely been confirmed after seeing those photos of Orlando Bloom.” And – “Hey mum @katyperry, quick, put Orlando Bloom's nudes on the Rise video while it's still hot. Get dat promo gurl kidding.”
Whether it was a publicity stunt or not, the dreams of many Pirates of the Carribean fans came true upon the release of these photos and I’m not mad about it.
