Katy Perry BLASTS Rumors Of Any Bad Blood After Orlando Bloom Split & Chops Off Her Hair

You know what they say, give a girl a pair of scissors and a fresh new ‘do, and she’s about to change her life.
It’s always following a breakup, a life-changing moment or…. just out of pure boredom that a girl goes through a drastic new change all beginning with her precious locks, and this week, it was none other than Katy Perry on the chopping block.
After debuting her new blonde locks on the cover of her single “Chained to the Rhythm”, it seems as though Katy wasn’t chained to that style for too long after she took to social media just yesterday, once again switching up her look with a much shorter-Miley-Cyrus-inspired platinum blonde pixie cut.
Katy called upon hairstyling mastermind Chris McMillan to get the job done, who unsurprisingly was the same stylist as Miley when she chose to also chop her hair back in her “Wrecking Ball” days, however Katy did admit that the inspiration for the new style came from Manchester By The Sea’s Michelle Williams. In the Instagram video, Chris reveals to Katy that he’s wanted her to try out this new look off for quite some time, and it looks like that time has finally come.
But before we all get to thinking that Katy’s recent breakup with Orlando Bloom was the sole decision-maker behind her new look, she’s already cleared up all rumors about the split, as it seems it was purely amicable.
She took to Twitter yesterday to clear the air, saying QUOTE, “How bout a new way of thinking for 2017. U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!” Fair enough… but of course a seemingly peaceful and cordial split leads to the question of these two getting back together in the future, right? Sources told E! News that although the split was inevitable, Katy and Orlando “both still love each other very much” and that the possibility of “getting back together could happen once they have some space.”
