Pete Davidson JOKED About Ariana Grande Dumping Him Before The Breakup
Be careful what you joke about…You guys have obviously heard by now that sadly Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have allegedly split up according to TMZ. Ari & Pete were together for 4 months, and the breakup comes a month after Ariana’s EX: Mac Miller’s passing.
The split actually wasn’t a surprise to many but apparently it also, may not have been a surprise to Pete Davidson since Pete has been making jokes about him and Ari breaking up ever since they got together. Literally 2 months after Pete proposed he told VARIETY QUOTE “I'm still convinced she's blind or hit her head really hard. Something is going to happen, and she's going to be like, 'What the f--k is this thing doing around?' For right now, it's rocking."
But like I said before, Pete’s been joking about him and Ari breaking up on SNL for a while now. Remember the Tic Tac joke? Pete joked about switching Ariana’s birth control with Tic Tac’s and actuall received backlash for it. He said QUOTE “No, I believe in us and all, but you know, I just want to, like, make sure that she can't go anywhere."
And then there was the time Colin Jost pointed out that Ari’s song called “Pete Davidson” should be proof of her level of commitment. And Pete joked back by saying this:

I have to admit though, of course when you’re a comedian on SNL, you’re going to make break-up jokes and poke fun at the fact that you’re dating one of the world’s biggest pop stars. But now everyone’s looking back and wondering if maybe there was something going on behind closed doors we didn’t know about.
What is a little shocking however, is that just hours before the broke up, Ariana was at Saturday Night Live supporting Pete during a live broadcast.
Personally, I feel so bad for Ari because she’s been through so much as of late and I’m sure this break-up doesn’t make things any easier. But my heart also goes out to Pete because I felt like he truly did love her.
