Pewdie Pie gets emotional and slams the media during a vlog responding to all of the controversy that caused him to be dropped by Disney and YouTube this week...
Pewdie Pie is acknowledging that he went too far with his recent anti-semitic jokes, but he’s still putting most of the blame on the media.
In a Vlog addressing fans and the public over the backlash, Pewdie Pie, aka Felix, openly admitted that some of the jokes he made in recent videos went too far.
After apologizing for going too far, however, Felix went right into an explanation about why he thinks the media is the real culprit to blame in all of this.
He also said that he doesn’t blame Disney or Youtube for dropping him, and understands there are consequences to his actions.
He concluded the video by outing the media for putting so much focus on his show getting canceled, rather than focusing on the real hatred out there…While Pewdie Pie may just be “one guy from Sweden”, as he says in the video, he’s one guy with over 53 million subscribers--so when it comes to putting out content that may be interpreted as more offensive than funny, it’s going to create some negative and polarizing reactions, so it’s good that he understands that now.
