Pink gives a high flying and fierce performance of her new song, “Just Like Fire”, at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
Pink just nailed the vocals on her latest song, “Just Like Fire” and might have inspired a new Cirque du Soleil show in the process...
Pink’s latest song “Just Like Fire” was written for the upcoming “Alice Through the Looking Glass” movie, and the pop diva totally wow’d the crowd with her acrobatic performance of it.
Okay, who else can look like a dominatrix slash raven and while getting harnessed onto a high-flying aerial rope WHILE belting out a difficult song? Okay, maybe Beyonce--but it was all eyes on Pink as she did all of those insane things at once. And she did them damn well...
The audience was all about Pink’s edgy, acrobatic, Alice-in-Wonderland inspired choreography. It was obvious that she was having an absolute blast while making everyone’s jaws drop. And her vocals were spot-on as usual, despite all the crazy moving around she did on stage and in the air. In fact, it’s probably no coincidence that one of the lines in the song is “No one can be just like me anyway”--After that performance, there’s not a more appropriate lyric in the world to describe Pink.
All that being said, who wants to vote for an Alice-Through-the-Looking-Glass Cirque du Soliel show starring Pink? Someone call Las Vegas and make that happen, like stat.
So now I wanna know what did you think of Pink’s performance? And can we talk about that scary fierce style? Get the conversation going in the comments and after that click here to watch Ariana Grande’s Performance from the night, because you know you want to.
