Click to Subscribe! ► - Time to pile the dirt high, and to let my new Hyper MT fly! The Hyper series is now built and distributed by a company called "HoBao", formerly manufactured as OFNA. But, there is a limit to what a skid steer can with an extreme angled jump! Built up to 5 1/2' tall, with an "Extreme Air" angle.. the dirt ramp launches my new truck with ease. First - I had to build the jump.. I did so with my CAT 242D Skid Steer, I purchased at Finning Canada. I had them install a TORC robotics system, which allows me to operate via remote control. With a robotics system, not only am I able to save my body from vertigo from the extreme angles, but I can also see the angles, and the tires.. and push the machine to it's limit. What a great test opportunity. I have more about this skid steer on my YouTube channel. You can see a YouTube playlist here:
The HOBAO Hyper MT Sport PLUS - Electric 4x4 is a powerhouse. Yes, this machine was sent to me as a promotional item, but as you can see in the video.. I really went to town on it. All to come out in the end.. with a very big surprise. It is a very tough RC...and handled the abuse well. It was better then expected with power, and overall reliability. The only reason I had to stop filming, was to tighten the wheel nuts. Interestingly enough - these wheel nuts have a screw set into the hub, so you do NOT lose the wheel nut when it backs off loose. I was shocked by this.. it is brilliant.
Lots more information about this truck online, but here are some highlights of the rig:
