Click to Subscribe! ► - The first part of our River Journey today will begin with introducing ourselves to the capabilities of these jet boats in an open river. I would like to warn younger viewers to always be with an adult when playing close to any waters edge. It can be very dangerous. Everett and I are familiar with this area, and I grew up here. With both of our boats charged and ready to go, (powered by a 5S 5000mah Max Amps Lithium Polymer high-discharge battery). We are feathering the throttle to get acquainted with how these boats handle in the rapids. These boats are quite large compared to other jet boats on the market, at the time of this filming - but they still get tossed around pretty good! Plenty of response time, and lot's of extra power could be accessed when needed.
Thankfully, we had the new skid plates designed by Streamline RC. (These are an upgrade, not available on the stock model).The skid plates are featured in this film at 4:40 in the film. It is made of stainless steel and is very durable. It was absolutely necessary to run these skid plates during a creek/river/rock bashing run! It completely protected the Jet Nozzle upon impact of the higher river bed.
