November 22nd is a big big day for music fans and I’m about to tell you guys why.
I’ve got a couple acronyms for you guys. 5SOS, JLO, AMA’s, and SELENA GOMEZ. Okay, so maybe that last one wasn’t an acronym.
Just in case that message was a little cryptic, let me break this down for you. Dick Clark productions just announced that our faves are gonna KILL IT on stage at the AMA’s. Selena Gomez, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Carrie Underwood are among the main performers who have JUST been added to the show, while Jenny from the Block is going to be our host for the night. Can I just express how excited I am for J.Lo to host? Not only that, but she is also set to perform!
Of course, award shows are always full of surprises and we never know what to fully expect. There’s always lots of mixing and matching performances and acts, so what are your predictions? Which Revival songs will Sel be performing? Do you think JLo could even take the stage WITH Selena? Will 5SOS share the stage with someone else? Or reenact their new “Hey Everybody” music video? So many possibilities!
As far as nominations go, Taylor Swift is at the top with 6 nominations, and Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd follow closely behind at 5 nominations each. I know you guys can’t wait, so mark your calendars for November 22, get to voting for your favorites and make sure to watch on ABC.
