It’s a very busy time for Selena Gomez. Her new song “Good For You” is a huge success, she’s getting ready to release a new album, Revival, in October, and she’s doing tons of press to promote all of her new music.
In her latest interview, Selena opened up about the lyrics to “Good For You.” BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills told Selena that listeners think the opening lyrics to the song are QUOTE 'I'm farting carrots END QUOTE.
So, what’s the deal? Are those the real lyrics? Not at all! Selena told Scott the lyrics are actually QUOTE ‘I'm a 14 carat’ which is a 14 carat diamond END QUOTE.
Glad we cleared that up!
While it’s a very exciting time for Selena, she also admitted that she’s pretty stressed. She told Mills QUOTE I've been so stressed about everything from the second single to how we're going to present the album END QUOTE.
Selena’s second single is rumored to be called “Same Old Love” and will reportedly be released in the next couple of weeks. The title of the track has some people thinking it’s about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, but the Biebs didn’t come up in this interview.
One young male star that did come up in the interview was Zayn Malik, who is newly single after splitting from his fiancé Perrie Edwards. Zayn recently followed Selena on Twitter, which has raised some eyebrows. Is there a love connection happening? Not at the moment. But, when asked about Zayn following her on Twitter, Selena revealed QUOTE Obviously I know Zayn now, so it's not like a weird thing. END QUOTE Plus, she did promise to follow him back! So let the Selena and Zayn romance rumors begin!
