Selena Gomez is feeling herself in sensual new song “Fetish”- released online late last night.
But fans are ACTUALLY freaking out about another Selena song that surfaced at the same time.
Selena took over iTunes last night when she dropped her steamy new single “Fetish”. The song is not as experimental as “Bad Liar” but it makes up for it with cocky seductiveness. Watch the official audio clip featuring an intimate journey with Selena’s mouth.
Yup, that last line you heard was “If I were you, I’d do me.” Fans are citing the song as Selena’s sexiest tune ever and many think it’s The Weeknd’s influence. One fan tweeted, “Ok so fetish sounds like The Weeknd accidentally gave the record producers his lyrics and they made Selena sing it anyways”.
But that wasn’t the only Selena song to arrive online last night. A track called “Stained” leaked on Soundcloud and fans are having a hard time deciding which new song they like better. “Stained” is an introspective pop song with Selena singing over a choir- take a listen.
Now THIS song sounds influenced by The Weeknd, if you ask us. One fan explained it simply, “Not generic white dumb pop. The Weeknd’s impact!” But while it may be influenced by her boyfriend we don’t think the song is about him. In the track Selena is emotional and sings of a lost lost that has left a “stain” on her. Sounds more like that other guy she dated if we’re being totally honest here.
It’s safe to say Selena is bringing us all kinds of new sounds on her upcoming album and we’re totally here for it. But are you?
