Selena Gomez DROPS Hints About New Album & New Song 'Rare'

It’s been almost three years since Selena Gomez released her last album, but we might be getting a new one soon.
When Selena popped into her friend Connar Franklin’s Instagram live the other day, she revealed that she was done with the album and that it would be coming out QUOTE: “later.”
That “later” might actually be sooner than we think. Yesterday, Selena did her own Instagram live, where she talked about the album. She was thisssss close to playing a sneak preview for the viewers, but then her friend Raquelle told her not to. Come on Raquelle!
So we didn’t actually get to hear any of the songs, but Selena did reveal the name of her favorite track. She said “Rare” was QUOTE “beautiful,” and she can’t wait for her fans to hear it.
There’s still no official release date yet, but she has been slowly dropping hints about the album over the past few months. She said during an interview last month that she’ll have at least one female collaboration as well as a few Spanish songs.
She also said that she’s been taking her time with the album to make sure it’s just right. She told Billboard, QUOTE: "This has been building for maybe two years. I was really happy with Revival, but at the same time, I was terrified of doing another record. Because for me, it could be like it was a step down or I needed to beat that record, and I think every artist kind of struggles with that. So I waited. I wanted it to be great, and had I not waited a good year or two, I wouldn't have had the best songs I've ever had."
Best songs she’s ever had? Well, she’s certainly setting herself up for some big expectations, but judging from the singles she’s been releasing as of late, we’re sure it’s going to be a banger.
