Looks like Selena Gomez is trading her mom in -- for none other than Kris Jenner. What's up guys, thanks for keeping it here at Clevver News where we're discussing the latest chapter in the Selena saga, as there are reports that she's ready to bring on the world's most famous mom-ager, Kris Jenner, to be in charge of her career. In case you haven't heard, the "Come and Get It" singer recently fired her mom Mandy Teefy, who had been managing Selena's career since her Disney days. And it sounds like it was a bitter exit, as Selena's mom didn't even know it was happening -- until TMZ reported it. Ouch. Anyway, now Selena making the move to Kris as manager wouldn't be a huge surprise as she has been seen hanging out with Kendall and Kylie a TON lately -- did you see all their Coachella pics? -- but anyways, according to a "source" " Selena thinks it would be quote "best to stay close to people who are managing her friends careers." Which is exactly why Selena's search for new management is reportedly down to Kris Jenner or Scooter Braun -- you know, the guy in charge of Justin Bieber? Apparently, both JB and the Jenner sisters have been pitching Selena HARD, with a source saying: "One thing that is good out of this situation is that she's really taking her time in making the decision. But both of them definitely have first dibs." Considering what Kris Jenner has done for her family, we think it's an interesting choice on Selena's part -- if this does indeed end up actually happening. Guess we can look forward to Selena on some episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians at least, right?
