Selena Gomez stars in Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation as Count Dracula’s daughter Mavis (may-vis). In the movie, Mavis is a little weary of her dad’s infatuation with the ship’s captain, who Mavis has a bad feeling about.
At a press junket for the upcoming film, she revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she’s similar to her character in that respect. When her parents started dating other people she was very protective over them and she would QUOTE, “give them a little test”
Her parents were both teens when she was born and separated when she was 5. And eventually both of Sel’s parents’ significant other’s went on to pass Selena’s tests and expand the fam.
She talked about her 5 year old little sister Gracie Elliot Teefey saying QUOTE, “She’s my biggest supporter. It’s awesome.”
Selena said Gracie is excited to watch the new movie and that QUOTE, “She's just there to have a good time. I don't think my sister over thinks anything and that's what I love about her. She enjoys it. She's excited about life.”
E! News host Jason Kennedy also talked to Selena at that press junket and hard core put her on the spot. He apparently talked to her best friend before the interview, but he wouldn’t give her names. But that mystery person asked her “who’s your best friend?”

Then she revealed she’s obsessed with Friends and assigned characters to her friend squad giving Courtney Monica, Raquelle Pheobe, and herself Rachel.
