During a performance in Quebec, Canada, Shawn Mendes took a tumble right in the middle of the stage. This moment was documented, thanks to a fan, who then shared the clip on Twitter. It began to gain traction once Shawn himself retweeted it, writing QUOTE “LOL yep. Im ok but also that was insane hahahahaha“
Though that unedited video alone was pretty great, leave it to fans to take something great and turn it into something absolutely hilarious. A bunch of fans on Twitter then took this video that Shawn reposted and switched it up a little to make it even funnier.
One fan tweeted at Shawn saying “ LOL I’m sorry” and shared their edit, where Shawn’s fall turns into a scene from Star Wars.
Another fan started the clip off with Ariana Grande’s music video for “No Tears To Cry” and when Ariana jumps, it then transitions into Shawn’s tumble.
Then there’s this one that goes from Shawn falling to some guy dancing, and it’s hilarious.
But possibly my favorite meme of all is the one where someone simply captioned the original clip, “me jumping to conclusions like” Because…it’s pretty relatable, am I right?
