Shawn Mendes WINS Favorite Male Singer & Gets SLIMED At The 2018 Kids' Choice Awards

Shawn Mendes took home the award for favorite male singer but not before getting unexpectedly SLIMED in his trailer.
Betcha didn’t see that one coming, Shawn.
Even though Shawn wasn’t able to attend the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards, Nickelodeon was kind enough to bring the show to him – especially since he was named a winner. Shawn was nominated for Favorite Male Artist and was up against the likes of Bruno Mars, DJ Khaled, Ed Sheeran, Luis Fonsi, and Kendrick Lamar.
Even though the competition was REALLY close, Shawn’s loyal fanbase came through and got him enough votes to take home the coveted award. Well, that and buckets upon buckets of slime delivered to him by Jace Norman.
Shawn was COVERED in bright green slime from head to toe, but he still managed to give a great acceptance speech and thank all his fans and Nickelodeon for bestowing him with the best gift possible.
How sweet!
