The kid’s voices were heard at the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards, and we’ve got a rundown of the night’s biggest winners.
That’s right, in a tradition almost as old as time itself, everyone’s favorite singers, actors, TV shows, and movies were honored at the 31st annual Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, and our girl Millie Bobbie Brown won the evening’s first award for Favorite TV Actress for Stranger Things. She even got political with her acceptance speech, honoring the victims of the Florida school shooting last month.
As for Favorite breakout artist, Camila Cabello picked up the orange blimp statue for that one, further proving that her solo career is taking off like crazy. I mean, she even beat out Cardi B!
And a big congrats to our girl Liza Koshy, because she nabbed the trophy for Favorite Funny YouTube Creator. And naturally, she gave a LOL-worthy -- and inspirational -- acceptance speech. Right before getting slimed, that is.
What won for Favorite TV Show, you ask? Well, that award went to Netflix’s megahit, Stranger Things, with Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Millie Bobbie Brown on hand to accept the famous orange blimp.
Next up, we have Favorite Musical YouTube creator which went to JoJo Siwa, who also performed her songs “Kid in a Candy Store” and “Boomerang” after winning.
Zendaya won for Favorite Movie Actress thanks to her role in The Greatest Showman, beating out Anna Kendrick, Daisy Ridley, Emma Watson, Gal Gadot, and Zoe Saldana. That’s some stiff competition!
And we’re sending lots of love to Shawn Mendes who won Favorite Male Artist -- even though he wasn’t there to actually receive the award. Womp Womp.
As for Favorite TV Actor, that went to Jace Norman for his role on Henry Danger, while Dwayne Johnson won for Favorite Movie Actor, even though he wasn’t at the ceremony.
And the night’s biggest award -- Favorite Movie -- went to Jumanji!
