We’ve already fallen in love with Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” duet, and if possible, their first-ever live performance might even be better in person.
All the anticipation and Twitter teasing was well-worth the wait, and FYI, what you’re about to witness is the absolute perfect remedy to help kick off your weekend.
We all got a wake-up call sent from the gods above this morning after Camila and Shawn appeared on Live With Kelly and Michael bright and early to flawlessly perform their brand new collaboration “I Know What You Did Last Summer”. Take a look:
After their performance, the pair revealed that they were more nervous than they’ve ever been, saying QUOTE, “We were so nervous for that, you have no idea. We were, like, peeing ourselves.” But thankfully neither Shawn nor Camila had any sort of onstage code-yellow moment.
Camila later tweeted her excitement, saying QUOTE, “thank u @KellyandMichael for having us today!! @ShawnMendes and i were full of butterflies and nerves, it was so fun! thank u all who came”. And Shawn gave all the credit to his co-collaborator, retweeting Camila and adding, “You killed it! Sooo good Camila, thank you @KellyandMichael”.
