Camila Cabello Confesses She's "REALLY IN LOVE" With Shawn Mendes!

Well, the summer is over and Shawmila is STILL going strong. Not that we ever doubted them in the first place...okay maybe just a little bit. But I’m very happy to be proven wrong.
What’s up guys it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and all the haters who said that Shawn and Camila wouldn’t last longer than the summer can give up on their careers as psychic mediums because they have no intention of breaking up anytime soon.
In fact, Camila is doubling down on how much she loves Shawn Mendes.
They’ve been dating for just about 3 months now, so if they were contestants on 90 day fiance it looks like they’d choose to get married in the end afterall - which is a happy ending for all of us invested in their relationship.
And yes, if you thought that we’ve been seeing less PDA paparazzi pics and selfie videos from them lately, you’re definitely right.
Yeah, I’ll save your eyes from the remainder of that video!
But that doesn’t mean that there’s any love lost between the two talented singers. Maybe the honeymoon phase of their new relationship is just ending, highly doubt it though! They haven’t run out of passion, but they’ve learned how to save it for behind closed doors.
Earlier this summer, Camila said that she wanted to keep a “tight lip” on their relationship or else they risk losing what they have.
In an interview with Elle Magazine, she said “we are going to live our own lives, enjoy it, and fall for each other like nobody is watching. That is how I want to live. I never want to open the door for people to feel like they are involved. Like I said, I want it to be mine and his. That’s why I’m so tight-lipped about it: because I want to protect it”
But now it looks like she’s more comfortable talking about her relationship with Shawn. She did an interview with UK’s Capital FM’s Breakfast Radio Show where she professed her love for Shawn.
She also told them about why she was so excited to make Senorita with Shawn after he approached her with the idea for the song:
The two never really got to connect during their busy schedules on tour, but kept running into each other the following year at award shows.
And then in 2015 they came out with “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, which they wrote backstage at Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour.
Then they had plenty of time to get to know one another as they traveled across America together on a press tour.
Of course, dating rumors started right away but the two insisted that they were just friends.
Yes, they had steamy performances way back in the day too. Like at the iHeart’s Jingle Ball
But now there’s nothing holding them back from loudly and proudly proclaiming their love for all to hear.
At first, people seemed to think that they were quote “dating” as a PR stunt for the summer in order to promote their song Senorita so that way it could reach number 1 on the charts and make history.
But Senorita DID reach number 1 on the charts for the week of August 31 - right in the knick of time for the end of summer.
They knocked off Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” after just one week. But then had a taste of their own medicine when Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” knocked them off the top the following week.
So they hit the goal that they hypothetically wanted from the beginning. But now it’s cuffing season and they’re still going strong.
And I’m just here wondering what their super coupley, super cheesy halloween costumes will be this year.
And I’m also wondering why they haven’t already done group costumes in the past!
The radio show wasn’t the first time that Camila professed her love for Shawn. On his 21st birthday she posted this photo along with the caption “Happy birthday to this magic human, I love you!!!”
And I’m sure this isn’t the last time we’ll hear her say that “L” word.
So what’s next for them? Maybe they’ll have more songs together. That’s what I’m hoping. Camila is working on new music, and she has been spending a lot of time with Shawn, so it’s certainly possible.
Like I said, here’s hoping for some great Halloween photos of the two of them.
