Shay Mitchell DRAGGED By Fans For Posting FAKE Makeup Remover Ad

This past weekend the Bioré ambassador took to Snapchat to share with her makeup loving followers that removing makeup should be an easy task.
She starts off her snap by talking about the cleansing waters that remove and clean skin from stubborn makeup and proceeds to say she’s tried her QUOTE “fair share” of them. That’s when Shay says, these are by far her favorite saying they even remove waterproof mascara. So, what’s so ridiculous about this? Well, she then proceeds to pretend to rub her eye with a cotton pad except it’s like 10-feet away from her face. Take a look…
Thanks to Twitter user Jordan who recorded the video and tweeted it saying QUOTE, “SHE AINT EVEN ACTUALLY RUB HER EYE IM CRYING LMFAOOOO.”
Yep, Shay’s glam remained intact which to me is a bad sign that either the cleansing water isn’t so powerful at removing waterproof mascara or, maybe Shay forgot to post her sponsored content and was ready to go out and couldn’t take off the glam. Whatever it is, many times sponsored content is so straightforward it actually comes across as fake.
Shay just can’t cut a break. Just 5 months ago, some accused her of FAKING her trip to China on Instagram. The photo in question was one of the Monster Building in Hong Kong and if you look closely at the picture on Shay’s Insta story, you can see a little mouse cursor in the bottom left corner. This caused a writer from StyleCaster’s to do a reverse search of the photo only to find out that the original photo was taken from a Canon travel blog.
Shay hasn’t released a statement to explain why she didn’t just rub her makeup yet, but she should know fans are watching her every move with a magnifying glass.
