Shay wrote a heartfelt message to Troian on her bff’s big wedding day, and clearly she would have attended the festivities if she could…
Shay took to Instagram to express her sadness for missing Troian’s big day, as well as her well wishes for her PLL bestie and her groom, Patrick J. Adams. In the post, Shay wrote QUOTE, “To my big sister T on her wedding day. I love that we were able to close one very important chapter of our lives together and I am devastated not to be there as you embark on your next one. As I sit here thinking about our friendship and journey I am reminded of how much I love, cherish and admire you. I know you and Patrick will have the most special day and I can't wait to celebrate you two as a married couple. Soak it all in and enjoy this moment...it's all yours babe”, followed by a bride emoji and the hashtag “#fortday2016inspirit”.
Unfortunately Shay couldn’t attend the nuptials because she’s currently filming her upcoming horror film, “Cadaver”. But at least she was able to give Troian a few extra happy tears on her big day with her lovely letter.
As for the wedding itself--it was a Bohemian-Chic paradise! Guests, including PLL darlings Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, and Keegan Allen, spent the California wedding weekend hanging out in the most glamorous camping tents we’ve ever seen, close to the beach and surrounded by trees. The bride and groom even drove up to their venue in a converted school bus with the words “Almost Married” written on the back. Too cute!
And in lieu of gifts, Patrick and Troian asked that their guests donate to the David Suzuki Foundation and SickKids Hospital, just in case you needed another reason to love this couple.
