It’s no secret Taylor is a huge Law & Order: SVU fanatic, and thanks to her pal Mariska Hargitay, AKA Detective Olivia Benson, Taylor might be making an SVU guest appearance very soon…
Well it turns out if you’re a big enough fan, anything can happen, at least for Taylor Swift, who’s hardcore fangirl antics have scored her numerous epic performances alongside some of her favorite TV show characters… and I just gotta say, Smelly Cat? Still my favorite to this day. #neverforget.
BUT seeing that Taylor invited Mariska to make an appearance in her music video for Bad Blood AND she named her cat after Mariska’s SVU character’s name, it’s only necessary that the favor be returned, right?
According to Mariska, Taylor has already been invited to appear on the show after she revealed to an interview with Entertainment Tonight, that “We just talked about it. We're going to wait until the end of the 1989 World tour to see how it goes. But it's in the air."
So I’m pretty sure I can speak on behalf of Taylor and check the ‘HELL YES’ box on the invitation, seeing that this special appearance would the ultimate form of friendship initiation, and we’re only hoping for another perfect double-Olivia Benson commencement like this one:
