Sunan Drajat
Sunan Drajat, was estimated born in 1470, with the first name Raden Qasim, then he had tittled as Raden Syarifudin. He was the son of Sunan Ampel, who was also the brother of Sunan Bonang.
After mastering the lessons of Islam, he spread Islam in the Drajat village, Paciran district, which was a gift from Demak kingdom land. In recognition of his success in his efforts to spread Islam and alleviate poverty by creating a prosperous life for its citizens, he obtained his Sunan Mayang Madu from Raden Patah Sultan of Demak in 1442 saka or 1520 AD
To reach the tomb of Sunan Drajat, can be start from Surabaya and can be reached by road Daendels Tuban (Anyar-Panarukan), it takes only 30 minutes when through Lamongan.
