The Kardashian's Controversial Cosmo Cover As "America's First Family"

Silly me, I thought the Obama’s were America’s first family. But Cosmopolitan Magazine has another idea. Covering their 50th anniversary issue, Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie are posed together, with the cover reading “America’s First Family”
Wearing all white button downs and black heels, Editor and chief of the magazine Joanna Coles watched the women shooting
And that is 16 pages of their beauty. And their beauty is undeniable, but also undeniable is their love for each other. Cosmo spoke to Ryan Seacrest, who helped bring their reality show to television, said QUOTE "No one could have predicted the Kardashians' and Jenners' success…But when you spend time with them, what resonates is the family unit. There are so many things about them that are glamorous, crazy, and unlike our lives, but the sense of family is universal."
And you might be surprised tofind out that there was one point in Kim Kardashian’s career when someone told her she would never be on the cover of Cosmo. Kim revealed QUOTE I had a publicist that I worked with that said, ‘What do you want your career to be?' And I said, ‘I just wanna be on the cover of Cosmo one day.' And she looked at me and goes, ‘Kim, let's be realistic. You're never going to be on the cover of Cosmo.'"
