The SAD Reason Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson SKIPPED The 2018 Emmys

After everything that has happened within the last couple of weeks, I think it’s safe to say that fans were excited to see Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson resurface and make an appearance at the 2018 Emmys.
But even after a photo of a seating chart for the Emmys made the rounds on the internet, those who were waiting to catch a glimpse of their favorite couple being super adorable on camera at the show were just disappointed in the end. Unfortunately, Ariana and Pete did not show up. However, they had a pretty good reason as to why they were both MIA from the event.
Ariana’s team explained to People magazine the reason for Ari and Pete’s no show. They said QUOTE, “Contrary to reports, Ariana will not be attending the Emmys tonight. Pete has also opted to not attend to be with her in New York. Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend. She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”
