The Weeknd reacts to BARELY avoiding being hit by a falling object while performing!
We don’t know how, but he didn’t even FLINCH!
The Weeknd shared a scary clip to his Instagram stories this week, which showed a piece of stage equipment falling from the ceiling and nearly hitting him while he performed in Mexico over the weekend.

As you can see, the falling object appears to be just feet, if not inches, away from the “Call Out My Name” singer. In addition to sharing the video on his stories, The Weeknd joked QUOTE, “Mexico Forecast: Stormy with a chance of falling objects”, but he obviously knew what a close call it was because he also posted a scared-looking emoji alongside the clip.
We gotta point out how impressive it is that despite the object crashing so close to him while he was singing, The Weeknd didn’t even flinch and kept on going. They say the show must go on but in these, circumstances, we wouldn’t have blamed him for stopping the show for a second to make sure nothing else was gonna come crashing down on him. So kudos to The Weeknd for been such a pro, but also we wanna remind him to be careful out there because this could have landed him in the hospital -- or worse.
We’re so relieved this was just a close-call, and we’re sure The Weeknd’s on-again girlfriend Bella Hadid, is too. Earlier this month The Weeknd celebrated Bella’s 22nd birthday by posting an adorable video of the too smooching at a bar, along with the caption QUOTE, “Happy birthday Angel.” And just last week, Bella shared a picture of her and The Weeknd affectionately touching foreheads, along with the simple caption, “Home”.
Okay guys now it’s time to turn it over to you -- are you shocked at how close The Weeknd was to getting hit by equipment at his show? And are you glad to see him and Bella back together and more in love than ever? Sound off with all your thoughts and feelings in the comments below!
