In case you missed it, Ariana Grande still has some tears left to cry. She broke down crying on stage during her Sweetener Tour stop in St. Louis this weekend and you might be wondering what happened? Why was she sobbing? And is our girl Ari ok?! Don’t worry we’ve got answers.
What’s up y’all? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and Ariana Grande isn’t holding back anymore. She let us Arianators know that she’s still healing after fans saw her cry on stage.
This isn’t the first time or even the second time she’s publicly broken down during this tour!
The most recent moment we’re talking about took place during the performance of her song R.E.M., specifically when trying to sing the lyrics “Before you speak, don’t move / ’Cause I don’t wanna wake up.”
See for yourself, and grab some tissues if you need because seeing Ari break down just breaks my heart every time.
Ariana commented on the moment in a now deleted post on her Instagram page. She wrote quote, “I feel everything very intensely and have committed to doing this tour during a time in my life when I’m still processing my humanness … so sometimes I cry a lot! I thank you for accepting my humanness. I’m not sure what I did to deserve to meet so many loving souls every night / to feel so much love, but I want you to know that it really does carry me through. I feel it and I appreciate it. And all of you so much.”
Ari’s fans know that despite all the success of her new albums, she’s had a hard couple of years between the devastating Manchester attack, the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, and her public breakup with Pete Davidson.
So it’s understandable why sometimes she just breaks down and cries. We are all just humans doing our best right?
She ended her post with some encouraging words for fans who also may be going through a tough time. She wrote quote, “I'm sharing this because i'm grateful and because i want you to know that if you too are hurting, you can push through and are not alone. It is hard to balance taking care of the people around you, doing your job, and healing/taking care of yourself at the same time... but i want you to know, you aren't alone and i think you're doing great. love you.”
Ugh I didn’t think I could possibly love her any more but I do now.
This post didn’t stop fans from worrying about Ari though.
One person wrote quote, “stop. singing. songs. ur. not happy. w. singing!!!!! we are here for ANYTHING literally ANYTHING. could even be a whole set of u breathing.”
To which Ariana actually responded assuring her fans she’s ok.
She said quote, “i will not put myself in harms way. i’m healing thru this experience & happy to be doing it with u by my side. sometimes we have waves of sadness! that’s okay. i’m not afraid of it. love you. these shows have been making me really happy lately, even the tough parts.”
Good, I’m glad to hear she’s ok, I worry about her too!
I appreciate the rawness though, it’s really impressive she’s still performing after everything she went through.
Alright guys, now I want to hear from you.
What do you think of Ari’s response to the video? And do you think it’s important for celebs to take time off or do you think they should push through and try to tour?
