Ariana Grande’s mom opens up in her first statement since the tragic terrorist attack in Manchester.
Ari’s mom Joan has released her first statement since the Manchester attack at her daughter’s concert, and it’s all about sharing support for the victims.
Joan Grande, shared a statement Monday honoring the victims of the terrorist attack outside daughter Ariana’s show in Manchester on May 22nd. She posted to Twitter QUOTE, "I stand with you all in the face of evil and we stand together to never let it rule our lives!"
According to multiple reports, Joan was heading backstage to see congratulate Ari on another great show at the Manchester Arena when the suicide bomber detonated his homemade nail bomb that killed 22 attendees. Joan reportedly helped multiple fans reach safety by bringing them backstage in the chaos that ensued.
In her Twitter statement, Joan shared her heartfelt support for the victims and all those affected by the tragedy, writing QUOTE, "This past week I have spent in reflective thought, prayer and deep sorrow. I join my daughter in extending my help and services to all those affected by the diabolical act of terror which occurred in Manchester! My heart goes out to all the victims: Those who lost their lives, those injured, those recovering and all survivors of that night, along with the families and friends whose grief knows no bounds...Thank you to all those who helped in any way that night in Manchester.” She ended the note by giving a Memorial Day shout out, saying QUOTE, “I continually thank those who are and were in service protecting our freedoms every day all over the world! #MemorialDay”.
