Cue the tears. Last night at Ariana’s concert in Argentina, the singer gave all of us – and I mean all of us – all the feels when she decided to pay tribute to eight-year-old Saffie. After putting on an incredible, tear-jerking performance of ‘Over the Rainbow,’ Ari ended the song with these sweet words.
Not only did Ariana pay tribute to Saffie during the concert, she also gave the young girl a shout out on Instagram. The ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer posted a picture of herself on stage and captioned the photo QUOTE, “Saffie, we’re thinking of you baby.”
Saffie, the youngest victim from the attack, would have celebrated her ninth birthday on July 4th. As Ari continues to move on with her life while remembering the victims from that tragic attack, her brother Frankie went on Good Morning Britain to praise his sister for her inspirational behavior.
At one point during the interview, Frankie was asked if Ari has kept in touch with the victims of the attack and his answer left fans feeling like he was being insincere.
Although Frankie was technically on the show to promote his upcoming tour, some viewed the question about the Manchester Attack as a way for Ariana’s older brother to piggyback off the tragedy.
One Good Morning Britain viewer tweeted QUOTE, “What a disgrace GMB! Having Frankie Grande on promoting his tour off the back of the victims of the Manchester bombings. Complete scumbag.” While another wrote, “Anyone else think Ariana Grande’s brother Frankie is really fake on this interview?” Yikes.
Anyway, what do you guys think of all of this? Do you think Frankie deserved the backlash from speaking on the Manchester Attack? Let me know in the comment section below!
