Ariana Grande Returns Home After Manchester Attack & Suspends Tour

Ariana leaves the UK to return home in the aftermath of the terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester.
Ari has returned to her hometown in Florida, where boyfriend Mac Miller was reportedly waiting to greet her with a huge hug. According to a source at E!, after the attack Ari boarded a private plane with her mom, Joan, and dog Toulouse, and returned to her hometown of Boca Raton, Florida. The source said QUOTE, "They were met at the airport by Ariana's boyfriend, Mac Miller...When Ariana got off the plane, Mac greeted her on the tarmac with a long hug followed by a kiss. Mac also gave Ariana's mom a hug. It was a very emotional reunion and they stood talking for a minute before getting into the car. Ariana looked exhausted and like she didn't get much sleep. She seemed like she just wanted to get home and be with her loved ones." I don’t think anyone can blame her for that.
Meanwhile Ari’s management released a statement explaining that the tour has officially been suspended, saying QUOTE, "Due to the tragic events in Manchester the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost. The London O2 shows this week have been canceled as well as all shows through June 5 in Switzerland...We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless act of violence. Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together. Thank you.
In the midst of all the devastating details of the Manchester attack, including that 22 people were killed, including a girl as young as 8 years old, and that 59 more were injured, some positive news did come out regarding Ari’s mom. According to TMZ, Joan Grande was sitting front row at the concert when the bombing occurred, and she and members of Ari’s security team reportedly rushed a group of up to 10 fans backstage to safety, where she waited with them until police arrived to safely escort them out of the building shortly after. It’s certainly nice to hear stories of compassion such as this one in the wake of such a horrific tragedy, so way to go Ari’s mom and security team.
