Ariana Grande Drops "No Tears" TEASER & Set To Sing About Manchester

Ariana Grande‘s upcoming song, “No Tears Left to Cry,” is one of the most highly anticipated tunes of recent times. The 24-year-old singer has kept a super low profile for the past several months, finishing her Dangerous Woman World Tour in September 2017 and barely even coming onto to social media since. But honestly, I don’t blame her.
Ariana’s life was changed forever on May 22, 2017 when a terrorist detonated a suicide bomb after her Manchester, U.K. concert, killing 22 innocent people and injuring hundreds more. Ari canceled a few shows immediately following the tragedy, but ultimately continued performing and finished out the tour.
She hasn’t given many details about her new tune, which comes out tomorrow, but according to a lucky fan who attended a listening party in London and heard it early, it’s pretty amazing.
The fan tells The Blast the “powerful” song isn’t all about the bombing, but definitely alludes to it and caused people to start hysterically crying when they finished listening.
The Arianator explains QUOTE “[It] addresses the incident in such a perfect, powerful way. [Several listeners] openly wept at how she alludes to the bombing and how incredible the song is.”
Ari has been dropping a few subtle teasers to promote the song before its April 20th release, including visuals from the single artwork.
The biggest hint about the song comes from a 30-second clip she dropped last night. While it doesn’t feature any lyrics it definitely gives us a sense of what to expect from the emotional tune.
TMZ reports that Ariana finished recording her fourth full-length studio album at the beginning of March and those who have heard it call it a personal masterpiece. She also co-wrote every single song on the LP, which was produced by Pharrell and Max Martin. Ari has dipped her toes in the world of songwriting in the past, but never to the extent of this. Needless to say, this is going to be EPIC.
AG4 has been a long time coming and now that it’s here I don’t even know what to do with myself. Everyone knew “No Tears Left to Cry” was going to be good no matter what, but now that the meaning has been revealed it’s all the more special.
