Taylor Swift Pays EMOTIONAL Tribute To "Resilient" Manchester During UK Stadium Show

Taylor Swift just made a SUPER emotional tribute to the victims of the Manchester bombing at her concert, and let’s just say it was extremely powerful.
Wow, you guys… there was not a dry eye in the building.
As many of you know, Taylor Swift kicked off the UK leg of the Reputation tour in Manchester over the weekend, which is a city that suffered the loss of many innocent lives just last year. On May 22, 2017, a bomber killed 22 people and injured more than 500 others at the Manchester Arena on the night of Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman Tour. But, now that Taylor’s arrived in Manchester for the rep tour, she felt it was important to pay tribute to the victims in any way she could.
During the concert, which took place on Saturday night, Tay paused the show to make an extremely moving speech. She told the crowd, QUOTE, “concerts are supposed to be about innocence, and about joy and about excitement, and what happened just over a year ago in this city was an attempt to steal that innocence.”
Taylor continued her tribute by talking about how the people of Manchester have only gotten stronger since then.

Of course, Swifties were incredibly touched by the tribute. One person wrote on Twitter, QUOTE, “Taylor has done the most beautiful job giving Manchester the tribute it deserves,” with another fan asking, QUOTE, “Did anyone else cry a little bit?”
