A think tank, Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) chief executive officer Ali Salman urged the government to focus on delivering economic reforms to government-linked companies (GLCs), open trade and public procurement in order to deliver economic reforms. Ali also said the government should reaffirm the country’s commitment to open trade and calls for greater transparency in public projects.
