T.I. and Iggy drop a bootylicious "No Mediocre" music video, coming at ya all the way from Brazil! Yes, these two have teamed up for the third time and thankfully their new music video explains the message of the controversial song. The video is shot in Brazil (coincidence with the World Cup, I think not!) and features the natural gorgeous ladies and landscape of Rio de Janiero. The video takes us through the day in the life of TI while in the exotic country. Of course it wouldn't be rap video without bikinis, booties, booty shorts and... soccer? When in Rio! Iggy Iggs comes in for her verse in some gladiator inspired booty shorts and fits in organically with the carefree ladies of Rio. Now if you've listened to the lyrics, you might think TI is being a tad blunt, especially since the B-word is used enough times to be a baby's first words, but he has gone on record with MTV News saying that the song is just a "get-your-sh—together-type of-record...it was something to uplift women." Huh? The song basically talks about how women shouldn't settle for mediocre when it comes to their personal endeavors or taking care of themselves. He goes on to add, "You must first have confidence and security within yourself, it goes from the heart, to the mind and then it is conveyed through your actions and your presentation of yourself."
