Zayn Malik was the musical guest for the LA taping of the Tonight Show last night and he debuted a new song!! He also revealed the cover art for his new album and holy adorable. Zayn made his debut as a solo act on tv last night when he stopped by the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to perform a brand new song off of his upcoming album, Mind of Mine. Prepare to have chills.
Zayn is on a roll and is showing no signs of slowing down after “Pillow Talk” went number one in 68 countries. Now he hit us with a new song and could not have sounded more perfect singing it for the world’s first listen. It hasn’t been confirmed yet whether or not “It’s You” will be Zayn’s next single but we do know that it will be on his upcoming album.
Speaking of which, we have a release date! Along with debuting the album’s cover art, that is too cute for words, Zayn revealed that Mind of Mine’s release date is March 25th. So the wait is almost over people. And get this, coincidentally March 25th marks the exact one year anniversary of Zayn’s announcement via Facebook that he was leaving one Direction. Coincidence or intentional? I’ll let you be the judge. But we need to talk about this cover art! Zayn looks so flippin’ cute in his baby form and then they photo shopped his tattoos onto his little baby arms! I can’t. If you’re having Déjà vu it’s probably because it reminds you of Lil’ Wayne’s album cover art for Tha Carter III and 4 which showed him as a baby with his tattoos photo shopped on as well. I’m all for this babies with fake tattoos trend.
