Zayn Malik & Gigi Hadid Face BACKLASH Over Their "Gender Fluid" Vogue Shoot

Gigi and Zayn’s “gender fluid” themed Vogue shoot is getting dragged on Twitter and being called out as tone deaf by fans.
In their new Vogue shoot, Gigi and Zayn are been presented as gender fluid dressers who share each other's clothing as a couple, and while they look absolutely gorgeous in the shots, some fans are offended by the theme and taking to social media to share their thoughts.
One fan tweeted QUOTE, “wearing your boyfriends jacket or wearing your girlfriend’s shirt cause it looks nice doesnt make you genderfluid”, while another joked QUOTE, “yes hello police, Gigi Hadid wore pants last week and now vogue is calling her a gender fluid icon”.
Gigi and Zayn were asked if they ever borrow clothes from each other's wardrobes in the interview, and their answers didn’t exactly show that they understand what being gender fluid means themselves. Zayn remarked that he borrowed a shirt from Gigi just the other day, saying QUOTE, “I like that shirt. And if it’s tight on me, so what? It doesn’t matter if it was made for a girl.” To which Gigi replied QUOTE, “Totally. It’s not about gender. It’s about, like, shapes. And what feels good on you that day. And anyway, it’s fun to experiment. . . .”
While we’re sure Gigi and Zayn’s hearts were in the right place, one fan probably summed up the entire shoot best when they tweeted QUOTE, “straight cis couple shares clothes, Vogue declares them gender fluid. Teen Vogue is gonna have to clean this one up for Mama Vogue.”
While many fans have voiced their outrage over the shoot and called it tone deaf, the couple does have one admirer on their side--Justin Bieber. Justin shared a pic from the shoot of the couple wearing track jackets while holding each other and looking directly at the camera and captioned it QUOTE, “Love this”. Soooo does this mean we get a Zayn and Justin collab song now?
