Gigi Hadid Reveals Date Night Details With Zayn & Covers British Vogue

Supermodels are just like us – they may look unobtainable come red carpet season, but in reality, all they ever dream about is Netflix, takeout and staying in on a Friday night.
Gigi Hadid can officially add ‘Vogue Cover Girl AGAIN’ to her long list of fashion feats, marking the upcoming March issue of British Vogue, her second cover for the fashion magazine. Although generally a private person, Gigi gave readers an inside-look at one of her favorite date night activities with boyfriend Zayn Malik, and side note: she is literally ALL of us.
She talked about spending her nights off laying low, saying QUOTE, “When I'm in LA I mostly stay in because it's my time off and I like being with my boyfriend and doing art and cooking.” Gigi went into more detail about a typical date night spent being indoors, saying, “We like late-night movies and we order from this amazing place that does lattes and gingerbread cookies. I need coffee to stay up. I'm always like, ‘Babe let's go to a movie’. Then I fall asleep halfway through and he's like, ‘You've seen the first half of every movie out there and you have no idea how any of them end.’”
Well that sounds oddly familiar to my own ideal date night, and I’m not even mad about it. But Zayn was not the only man in Gigi’s life mentioned in the mag. Her younger brother Anwar Hadid was also featured in the issue, as the two posed in a sweet brother-sister embrace. The artsy black-and-white shot was taken by famed photographer Mario Testino, who also shot black-and-white photos of Princess Diana back in the ‘90s.
But aside from gushing about date night, Gigi was also asked about one of her recent acts of internet heroism back in 2015 when she addressed her body-shamers claiming that she was ‘too big’ to model. Gigi talked about the positive response from her fellow Angels, saying QUOTE, “The response was crazy. From Victoria’s Secret Angels to my friends who are considered plus size, everyone texted me and said they appreciated me saying something. The world puts so much pressure on fashion then judges models for succumbing to that pressure.”
