Zayn Malik Not In Touch with 1D Guys & Loves "Chunky" Girls

Zayn Malik opens up about not staying in touch with the One Direction guys and his love for chunky girls?
Zayn Malik has been a busy guy since his split from One Direction, from recording music as a solo artist to dating Gigi Hadid, but he carved out some time in his hectic schedule to talk to Billboard magazine about everything from his current friendship status with the One Direction guys to what he looks for in a lady. One thing is for certain, Zayn has no problem tellin’ it like it is.
The “Befour” singer made a few cryptic comments about why he’s not in touch with his former band members in the interview, saying QUOTE, “The truth of it is… you can think one thing about a situation and the total opposite can happen. I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven’t received calls from a lot of people. I’ve reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it’s stuff you overcome in time.” As if that’s not enough shade to throw at 1D, when Billboard asked if he bought the guys’ album he said, “Nah… I’ll be honest. I thought the first single was quite cool. I heard the second single and… yeah, I didn’t buy the album.” Ouch.
But, hold up, because Zayn’s candidness doesn’t stop there. When asked what he wants out of a relationship he told the mag QUOTE, “I need a challenge. Also, I like girls that are a bit chunky in certain areas -- the nice areas. I like a fuller woman. I enjoy an intellectual conversation as well, where someone can construct a sentence beyond what hair and makeup they’re wearing, and talk about something political or about the world. I like an opinion.” Well it looks like Gigi Hadid must be have ticked all of those boxes real fast, seeing as they’ve already been spotted house-hunting together.
