Zayn Malik to Produce NEW TV Show About Boy Bands

So whatever animosity you thought Zayn and 1D may still have, don’t worry, because he’s putting all his experiences to good use… so we only hope…
You know what they say, when you learn to fly solo, the sky is the limit! Ok, so that’s not really what they say, but it seems to be a recurring trend with all of One Direction lately, like Harry Styles’ new movie role, Liam Payne’s new record label and Louis Tomlinson’s new judging gig. But the latest former 1D member to venture out of his musical realm is Zayn Malik who has reportedly signed on to executive produce a new television series about a One Direction-inspired boy band.
The new show, produced by the makers of the successful series “Entourage”, will be set to follow the early stages of forming a band, including the quick rise to fame, the highs and lows of making it big, the in-house egos and the behind-the-scenes drama that comes with becoming a global phenomenon… which are all things that Zayn has openly admitted he struggled with.
A source revealed to The Sun that Zayn’s time in One Direction will serve as perfect inspiration for the gig, saying QUOTE, “It’s a subject he knows lots about and he will call upon his experiences to advise the scriptwriters on the show. If the series does well, he’ll receive plenty of kudos in the industry.”
But of course, the first step to creating a show about boy bands, is first creating a solid boy band, period. The next step is to cast a full-on boy band to become a genuine musical act, with the strong possibility of releasing original songs from the show. Casting is reported to begin next month in LA, to which Zayn will be part of that process as well.
And there’s no word yet on whether or not Zayn is going to call upon his own inspiration from aliens once again, as he revealed that it was, in fact, aliens who told him to leave One Direction, but if he’s been able to find success all thanks to the wise words from the beyond, maybe they’ll come in handy for his new gig…
