Zayn Malik broke up with 1D on social media and it is hitting home hard for Directioners.
In 2015, the way one identifies oneself on social media says a lot about how one wants to be represented in the world. And well Zayn no longer wants to be identified as a fraction of 1D because he recently changed his twitter name from @ZayneMalik1D to just @zaynmalik.
Armageddon.
Man this is an everlasting wound that just won’t heal. Where’s the neurosporene when you need it??
No where to be found apparently because here comes another hit to the wound. Zayn also got rid of his bio quote that once said - "Just close your eyes and enjoy the roller coaster that is life :) x."
Know what it says now? Nothing. Nothing but England. ENGLAND! Zayn we know you’re British, we want corny quotes!
Upon Zayn’s twitter name change, naturally Directioners started a trending hashtag that said QUOTE - #YouWillAlwaysBeZaynMalik1D. Tears.
Since the dramatic change, Zayn has spoken to the people only once via the tweet method saying QUOTE - "Is speech an extension to our thoughts or an image that we like to create x.”
I don’t know, will I or will I not cry over your 1D social media breakup Mr. no bio quote?? Stop asking philosophical questions in times of despair like this.
I’m kidding guys. All dramatics aside, Zayn can change his social media to whatever the heck he wants. It’s really not that big of a deal. Surely the boys will still be friends in real life and the separation of “1D” from Zayn’s twitter name does not translate into the separation of a bromance so everyone take a deep breath.
