Cara Delevingne celebrated her 23rd birthday yesterday and has officially proved she is one of the most well-liked stars in Hollywood.
So it’s safe to say Blink 182’s lyrics “Nobody Likes You When You’re 23” are sadly mistaken as the amount of birthday love Cara received from her celeb pals proves otherwise!
The first of Cara’s A-Lister lads to kick off her birthday with a bang was of course Miley Cyrus, who unsurprisingly tweeted a photo of the two tongue-touching with a rainbow streak. She captioned the photo, ““Happpppy Biiiiiirffffffday Mushy!!!!! @caradelevingne”, giving us all the mushy feels.
Next, we have the squad leader herself, Taylor Swift, who Instagrammed a photo of her phone’s camera roll where Cara has undoubtedly taken over and snapped some rather revealing selfies that will reside in the magic of T-Swift’s hands for eternity. Tay captioned the photo, “Happy birthday to cheeky, charming @Caradelevingne- who lights up my life..and regularly steals my phone & does this:” And we’re not jealous at all.
Another squad member and fellow model friend, Gigi Hadid took to Twitter to share a few Polaroids she found of herself and Cara, saying QUOTE, “Found these today & ITS MY C BABY's BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! I love you @Caradelevingne”
And we can all relate to Hailee Steinfeld’s birthday shoutout to Cara, in which she also tweeted, calling her her spirit animal. Perfection.
Cara’s girlfriend Annie Clark, AKA St. Vincent, steered far from the norm of an adorable couple’s selfies and wished her lady love a happy birthday with a seductive picture of Brooke Shields sucking her thumb, saying “Happy birthday to the one only @caradelevingne! #thisisanoldpervypictureofbrookeshields” Romantic?
Cara’s Chanel campaign costar Pharrell wished his “little sis” a happy birthday while giving us all a laugh with a few hilarious photos of the two completely in their element.
And it seems as though Halston Sage and Cara know how to have the ultimate summer celebration seeing that her message read, “Happy Birthday @caradelevingne! Wish we were drinking margaritas at a water park to celebrate xox” Yeaappp, gonna need an invite to this.
And then there’s Cara’s sister Poppy Delevingne, who made us shed a tear as she shared a stunning photo of the sisters at her wedding with the sweetest tribute to her sis, saying QUOTE, “23 years ago, a little potato like creature came into my life and changed it forever… Happiest Birthday my Bubsie @caradelevingne You inspire me and make me smile, every single day.”
A few other celebs who shared sweet pics of Cara were her fellow Leo pal Jeremy Scott, who’s onesie picture of the two was insanely abstract, model Naomi Cambell who shared this photo with the hashtags, #worldisyouroyster and #keepinspiring, and even fashion photographer Mario Testino, who shared a picture of the two looking fierce and what could only be a simultaneous cat walk. So fierce.
And last but most DEFINITELY not least, I thought I’d leave you with the birthday message to Cara that wins at life. Paper Towns director Jake Schreier gave us all the photo that we all had to see before we could die happy. He posted this photo of Cara in a hot dog suit saying, “Happy birthday to Queen Hot Dog @caradelevingne” and there is nothing more to say about that image that will forever be embedded in our minds.
