As you’ve probably seen by now, comedian Tiffany Haddish revealed to GQ that an unnamed actress BIT Beyonce on the face at Jay-Z’s 4:44 concert after party at The Forum in December. After hours of speculation and mystery earlier this week, TMZ claims they know who the A List biter is. According to the site, multiple sources claim Tiffany has revealed Queen Bey’s biter is none other than Sanaa Lathan. And if you don’t think you know who she is… you do. She’s graced dozens of TV shows and movies including Love & Basketball, Contagion, and Alien vs Predator.
We hear that Sanaa went to talk to Jay Z at the party and Beyonce got uncomfortable. That’s when Bey went to talk to Sanaa, who brushed off any notion of inappropriate behavior and then jokingly bit Beyonce. TMZ says it was NOT an aggressive bite, but a playful and noninvasive nibble. Um, pretty sure someone putting their unwanted fangs on a Queen’s face is invasive. So Tiffany actually tried to get involved and step in, but Beyonce reportedly stopped her because she was convinced Sanaa was under the influence. But that didn’t stop Bey from storming away to find Jay and report what happened.
Sanaa has since denied putting her teeth on Bey’s face, tweeting, “Ya’ll are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would’ve been a love bite.” We’re guessing this is a question of the bite itself- that Sanaa thinks she playfully but her teeth on Bey, but witnesses saw an actual BITE.
Tiffany Haddish is also defending her actions. The BeyHive was not happy that Tiffany shared this baffling Beyonce tale, so Tiffany fired back. She posted this fierce Instagram pic and wrote, “ya’ll forget I am in the hive too and just know this I will always speak my truth. That’s not going to stop. The Queen kept me from doing something half of you Bees would have done no matter what.” Tiffany went on to say she’s learned a lot from Beyonce and will always have her Shero’s back.
