Amazing RAMEN & the world's RICHEST MATCHA ICE CREAM, Tokyo, Japan

Chasing a Plate is in Tokyo Japan! Today we hit the streets of Tokyo and visit Afuri a modern Tokyo ramen noodle restaurant which adds yuzu to their broth giving it a citrusy, light kick. We visit Afuri in Shinjuku but they have a few stores around Tokyo. Sheena tries the Yuzu Shoyu ramen and finds it light and delicious. Diners are also given the option of adding extra chicken oil to their bowl of ramen to give it a thicker mouthfeel. For a great Tokyo ramen experience Afuri is definitely worth a visit. And like all ramen stores, you order from a vending machine!

After our Tokyo ramen noodles we head to Nanaya and meet our friend Yuko. Nanaya boasts the world's richest matcha gelato. They have different grades of matcha ice cream, one through to seven. One being very sweet and seven, the richest being quite savoury and bitter. It's super delicious though! We're so glad we are able to try matcha ice cream in Japan!

After our visit to Nanaya we meet some fellow YouTubers, Always a Friday for a drink.
