Ariana Grande in ‘hysterics’ as she speaks out on the deadly terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester.
Here’s the latest on this heartbreaking situation.
As you know, Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman concert on May 22nd in Manchester, England was hit with a bombing which is now confirmed as an act of terrorism. The world has come together to show love and support for the victims, their families, and for Ariana. Last night Ariana herself spoke out for the first time since the brutal attack at her show. The singer tweeted an apology writing: “broken. From the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. I don’t have words.” The tweet has over 1 million ‘likes’ and counting. Fans are responding to Ariana with support and saying she shouldn’t apologize because the attack wasn’t her fault.
TMZ has reported that Ariana was inconsolable and quote “in hysterics” after learning nineteen people lost their lives at her show. The death toll has now risen to twenty two innocent lives lost, in addition 59 injured, and some people still reported missing. So far two victims have been identified, one an 8-year-old girl and another an 18-year-old girl. This is the deadliest terrorist assault in Britain since 2005. Ariana had just left the stage when a nail bomb exploded near the front door as people were leaving the concert.
As we can expect, Ariana has now indefinitely suspended her world tour in wake of the bombing. She was scheduled to perform Thursday night in London and then go on to Belgium, Poland, Germany and more. Not only is her team worried about safety and security at her shows, but we hear Ariana is in no condition emotionally to perform on stage.
