A man in connection with Ariana Grande’s concert bombing has been arrested as President Trump speaks out on the deadly terrorist attack.
We’ve learned new details regarding Ariana Grande’s May 22nd Dangerous Woman concert terrorist bombing. As we’ve previously reported, police were quick to label this tragic incident as a terrorist attack, and now terror group ISIS has claimed responsibility hailing the bomber as a “soldier”. According to the Daily Telegraph, ISIS supporters were celebrating the attack on Twitter and one video showed a supporter holding up a sign reading “Manchester” with the date of the attack.
British Prime Minister Theresa May said in a televised statement QUOTE, “We now know that a single terrorist detonated his improvised explosive device near one of the exits of the venue, deliberately choosing the time and place to cause maximum carnage and to kill and injure indiscriminately.”
The suicide bomber has now been identified as 22-year-old man and is one of the 22 killed Monday night. But he didn’t work alone. Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in South Manchester in connection with the attack. So far we don’t have details on just how this man was involved.
President Trump has condemned the horrific tragedy in England, calling it an act of “evil losers”. Take a look.
Our thoughts go out to all the victims, their families, their friends, to anyone involved, to Ariana Grande, her team, and her family. This is a time for the world to come together in support and love. We’ll keep you updated on this sickening situation as the story develops. From Clevver, I’m your host Sinead de Vries
